In addition to supplying general grades of scrap, AMG specializes in producing and delivering premium known-chemistry grades designed to meet melt shops’ exacting requirements, including:
- proprietary detinned bundles
- coolant scrap and steel nuggets
- alloy scrap
- foundry bundles and briquettes
- ferro-titanium and ferro-aluminum

AMG has decades of experience supplying a wide range of steelmakers, from large integrated and electric steel mills to smaller specialty foundries and melt shops. AMG takes particular pride in devising solutions to efficiently recycle lesser grades of scrap metal by developing new processing technologies and finding new uses for such material, often using AMG-designed and AMG-patented processes and equipment.
AMG works with melt shops and purchasing departments to design optimized purchase plans, identify and qualify scrap suppliers, coordinate transportation logistics and perform scrap chemistry analyses.
